Dates and Venue

Il Premio Bruno Mezzena si svolgerà dal 26 al 30 novembre 2025, presso The Spheres, uno studio di registrazione all’avanguardia situato in Via Tamigi, snc, 65015 Montesilvano (PE), Italia, che offrirà una palcoscenico ideale per gli artisti, mentre gli spettatori online potranno seguirli da tutto il mondo.

A choice between two concert grand pianos will be available for participants:

  • Steinway Modello D-274 (Hamburg, Fabbrini Collection)
  • Shigeru Kawai SK-EX

Three upright pianos will be available for short warm-up sessions. Warm-ups will be scheduled in advance. Fabbrini technicians will service the grand pianos in between the competition sessions.

Categories and Eligibility

Participants of any nationality are welcome to apply in the following categories based on their age:

  • Category A: Born between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2018
  • Category B: Born between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2016
  • Category C: Born between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2014
  • Category D: Born between January 1, 2011, and December 31, 2012
  • Category E: Born between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2010
  • Category F: Born between January 1, 2005, and December 31, 2007
  • SOLOISTS: Born between January 1, 1995, and December 31, 2004

One can register for higher categories regardless of age, but is not allowed to register for more than one category.

Registration Process and Fees

Interested participants must submit their applications by 1 October 2025. The registration can be completed online or by sending an email to premio@mezzena.org. Underage competitors must fill out the relevant section, which also includes the data of one of their parents or legal guardians, who must accompany them at all times during the competition.

Registration fees are as follows:

  • Categories A-B: €60 Euros
  • Categories C-D: €80 Euros
  • Categories E-F: €100 Euros
  • SOLOISTS: €120 Euros
